G. Gordon Gritty Band
At the center of everything is music. Since 2005, Gritty has written and recorded songs that function less as performances and more as documents—snapshots of thought, feeling, and contradiction captured as they occur.
The subject matter often includes work, ambition, self-improvement culture, boredom, responsibility, and the quiet persistence required to keep making things when there is no clear reward for doing so.
Gritty's music is unpolished and direct.
